Areas affected by the earthquake in 2005 and by the floods in 2010 are faced Water Project with shortage of drinking water and about 50 thousand Kashmiri migrants living in the refugees’ camps in different areas of the state of Jammu and Kashmir are having the same difficulties. Keeping all this in view ROKM has decided to launch Projects for the construction of water tanks/digging of wells in these areas.

It is worth mentioning there that the Organization has already constructed more than two hundred water tanks and wells in the migrant camps and in the earthquake-hit areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
